During the One Ocean Week, NCE Seafood Innovation is pleased to invite guests to a trip with Store Blå. The excursion will consist of a RIB tour to a fish farm where attendees can witness aquaculture and get up close to both nature and fish farming. The fish farm we will visit is Angelskår, located in Osterfjorden.
At the facility, knowledgeable guides from the Norwegian Fisheries Museum will lead the tour and answer any questions. Following the excursion, guests will receive free admission to the museum, where they can explore exciting fishing history in the historic boathouses.
The RIB boats can reach speeds of up to 40 knots and are highly stable and seaworthy. Store Blå will provide all equipment for the trip, but it is recommended to bring your own gloves, hat, and preferably a buff.
Program:
- 08:30 - Meet-up at the Fishery Museum. Guests will be provided with suits and life jackets
- 09:00 - RIB boat trip to the fish farm
- 09:30 - Tour of the fish farm
- 10:30 - RIB boat return trip
- 11:00 - Change of clothes
- 11:15 - Opportunity to visit the Fishery Museum
