In the process drama "The ice is melting! It's for real!” the children meet the penguins Piia and Pling, who have important things to tell. They have discovered that something is about to happen where they live. The ice has become smaller, it is more difficult to find food, and several others they know have disappeared. Join Piia and Pling's journey in the University Museum to find out what might have happened!

In the activity, we ponder questions such as: What is in the sea? Why do we need the ocean? Who lives in the sea? What should not be in the sea? The process drama uses playful, creative, and participatory learning methods, with the penguins' journey as the narrative frame. Together with the children, we explore topics related to plastic littering, pollution, and the impact of climate change on life in the sea, based on the children's own input, premises and assumptions.
